My fascination with travel came about in an unusual way. For 28
years I taught marketing education and fashion merchandising to
high school students. This ultimately led to a trip to Hong Kong to
meet with fashion designers and manufacturers as well as an
opportunity to see the city highlights. I was able to expand my
adventure to also include a visit to China and discovered a
fascination for the rich history and the very different culture of
Asia.
Another discovery is that I love to cruise! After my Asian
adventure I knew I had to go "big" for my first time at sea. I
selected a grand voyage to Alaska which, along with my parents who
sailed with me, I enjoyed immensely. And from that time on, I had
the "travel bug" and knew I had to travel as much as possible to
learn about other countries and their people.
Since then, I have visited many cities in Europe and most islands
in the Caribbean. One of my absolute favorite things to do is to
cruise with extended family members since I feel it is the best way
for multi-generations to vacation together.
As a result of my love for "all things cruising," I earned a cruise
specialist certification. Initially I worked as a home-based agent
until I as given the opportunity to work for CI Travel in 2010. I
am now an expert with Royal Caribbean, Uniworld, Regent and
Princess Cruise Lines. See you at the next embarkation!
