You also visit Freeport, which is renowned for its grand hotels, lavish casinos and miles of white-sand beaches. Like Nassau, it has superb golf courses and duty-free shopping. But Freeport has its own special personality, watersport opportunities and unique sightseeing attractions.

Nassau:
A laid-back tropical island with copious amounts of candy-pink colonial (and sometimes funky) charm. Nassau is a city with a vibrant swashbuckling pirate past. It offers tropical tree-lined streets filled with horse-drawn surreys; policemen in white starched jackets and colorful pith helmets; soft-sanded beaches for kicking back and catching ocean breezes; lavish Vegas-type casinos with attractions to match; dozens of good restaurants and enough duty-free shopping stops to please every fashionistas.

Freeport:
Revel in the natural splendor, beautiful beaches and near-perfect weather of this island paradise. Once there, you will find Grand Bahama is an idyllic island of white sandy beaches and beautiful waters. In town there are plenty of boutiques and bazaars to explore, and a variety of restaurants for dining. Local attractions include a number of casinos, Lucayan National Park, acclaimed dive sites and the island’s natural flora and fauna. Kayaking in the mangrove creeks is a must do.
