From sunrise to sunset and around
every corner, there's something exciting for you to do on a Royal
Caribbean International cruise vacation. Onboard, try the
rock-climbing wall, or work out with one of our fitness trainers.
How about a swim or a relaxing massage? Better yet, try your luck
at Caribbean Stud Poker, attend an art auction, or turn it out
dancing in a nightclub. There are even supervised activities for
kids. And on land, Royal Caribbean offers Shore & Land
Excursions for everything from deep sea fishing to swimming with
dolphins. Best of all, every experience is delivered with Royal
Caribbean's unique Gold Anchor Service
Liberty of the Seas:
Liberty of the Seas, sister ship to the Freedom of the Seas, is one
of Royal Caribbean's most elegant super liners, launched its maiden
voyage in May 2007 measuring just shy of 160,000 tons with a double
occupancy capacity of 3,634 passengers. To go along with it massive
size, Royal Caribbean has also added new activities and is the
second ship to feature The FlowRider surf park, an Everlast
regulation-sized boxing ring, the H2O Zone, an interactive water
park for kids and a barbershop. Royal Caribbean has also enhanced
its previous features with a bigger and better rock-climbing wall,
a new ice-skating rink, and by adding more casual dining choices
like Johnny Rockets, the Promenade Cafe and Ben &
Jerry's.
The regulation size, Everlast boxing ring is a new concept in
cruising and is attracting interest from cruisers of all ages, the
boxing ring allows guest to step inside the ring with a friend,
family member, or an onboard acquaintance to show whether they have
what it takes to be a boxer.
Another outstanding addition to the Liberty of the Seas is the
FlowRider, the first surf park at sea. The FlowRider allows guests
to test out their surf skills like never before. A three-inch sheet
of water flows up the 32-ft.-wide by 40-ft.-long incline to create
a wave-like reverse waterfall. Riders can decide between the
surfboard and boogie board option, and then get set to "hang
ten."
