Purchases are approved based on a variety of factors, including account history, credit record, and personal resources. If you anticipate
an unusually large purchase, you should call Customer Service in advance so that we may note your account appropriately.

Experience the ease and convenience of managing your account online anytime, day or night. You can pay your bill, view up-to-date billing
information— including transactions, charges, and payments—and even check your Membership Rewards account.
Fee-Free Travelers Cheques and Foreign Currency by Phone
Platinum Card members can have fee free foreign currency and American Express Travelers Cheques delivered directly to their home or
office by postal mail or Next Day delivery (delivery fees vary). When ordered by phone, there are no per item fees for Travelers Cheques
(single or dual signature) or foreign cash. The fee for Gift Cheques is $2.50 each. Order directly from American Express at 1-800-673-3782.
Delivery fees will apply to each order.
Cheques can also be purchased at banks, at an American Express office near you, however per item fees will apply to these non- phone purchases.
Online Year-End Summary
The online Year-End Summary provides a detailed and itemized record of all your expenses, organized by month and category,
such as travel, entertainment, healthcare, and fees. You can also print, sort, and download your summary to your computer—a
helpful tool come tax time.
Account Alerts
Keeping track of your account has never been easier. Sign up for Account Alerts and you can choose to be notified when your payment is due,
when irregular account activity is detected, when you are approaching your line of credit/spending limit, and more. Alerts can be sent
to your email or wireless device.
Dispute Resolution
If you see a charge on your American Express statement that you don't recognize and are unable to come to an agreement with the merchant—we
can help. American Express will take responsibility for resolving any disputed charge quickly and fairly. Simply call
us any time you wish to initiate an inquiry.
Emergency Card Replacement
If your Card is lost or stolen, we'll replace it — sometimes in as little as 24 hours. Call American Express or visit one of over

Car Rental Loss and Damage
Use your Card to reserve and pay for an auto rental and you can be covered for theft of or damage to most rental vehicles.

Simply decline the collision damage waiver (CDW) or similar option offered by the commercial car rental company. This coverage is
excess to your other sources of insurance. Coverage applies for the first 30 days of an auto rental if rented from a Car Rental Company.
Travel Accident Insurance

baggage in excess of the Common Carrier's coverage.

Whenever you travel, have peace of mind knowing that you have 24/7 medical, legal, financial, and other emergency assistance
while traveling more than 100 miles from home. We can direct you to English-speaking medical and legal professionals and arrange

Return Protection

Offers you guaranteed product satisfaction on designated items purchased entirely with an eligible American Express® Card.
If you try to return a designated item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back,
American Express will refund the full purchase price, up to $300 per item, excluding shipping and handling, and up to
a maximum of $1,000 annually per Card Account. Call 1- 800-297-8019 within 90 days of the purchase date to notify us of your request.
Purchase Protection

When a Platinum Card member charges a covered purchase with their Card account, the Purchase Protection Plan protects that item
for up to 90 days from the date of purchase if it is stolen, accidentally damaged (including vandalism) or lost.
Buyer's Assurance Plan

When you purchase covered items and pay for them entirely with your Card, the Buyer's Assurance Plan extends the terms of the original
manufacturer's warranty on eligible items for a period of time equal to the original manufacturer's warranty up to one additional year
on warranties of five
years or less that are eligible in the United States.
Fraud Protection Guarantee
Shop with confidence online and off. Whenever you use your Card for purchases, you won't be responsible for any unauthorized or fraudulent
charges. Period. Our secure encryption technology protects your information, but if unauthorized online charges do appear on your Card
statement, just notify us. In most cases, a temporary credit will be given immediately.
