Ocean World Adventure Park
Tour Description - Only three miles west of the North Coast city of Puerto Plata, this adventure park has more to see
and experience than most. Ocean World has surprises at every turn and should be on everyone’s list of things to do in the
Dominican Republic. Alive with a rain forest, rocky lagoons, tropical birdlife and cascading waterfalls, the tropical
surroundings are astounding. The trees literally drip bright green iguanas!
Smiling dolphins greet spectators and stand ready to swim with visitors. Hand feeding stingrays and cuddling a
seven-foot shark are among visitors favorite experiences. Even encounters with a sea lion; now that’s not an
opportunity that doesn’t come along every day. And where else on earth can you take a dip
in a grotto that adjoins a tiger habitat? Swim in the same water with one of the jungle’s mightiest beasts, separated
only by glass!
As for the memories, on-site photographers will capture the moments in photos and on video so you can relive all the
incredible experiences for years to come.

Mount Isabel Torres Botanical Gardens
Tour Description - Take a cable car to the top of Isabela de Torres, the peak overlooking Puerto Plata for a spectacular
view of the city and surrounding areas. The highest manicured gardens in the Caribbean sparkle with 15 brooks and streams
meandering amidst multiple trails perfect for a quiet stroll. Enormous ferns, giant hibiscus and fire-red gingers thrive
under a topical canopy. Also at the summit is the awe inspiring statue of Christ the Redeemer.
La Isabela National Park, about two hours from Puerto Plata, is located on the site where Columbus built the first European
settlement in the New World. The remains of what is believed to be the 15th century house where he lived, an observation tower
and the church where the first mass in the New World was given still stand today. There is also a small museum housing relics of
the time.
In addition to a rich history, the park also boasts rich, lush greenery, home to over 30 species of birds,
making it one of the best spots in the country for birding.

Scuba and Diving Excursions
Tour Description - The Caribbean's ancient coast lines and warm waters are home to endless magnificent dive
locations with everything from shallow water reef dives to deep water wall dives. These incredibly clear waters are teeming with
colorful marine life at home in countless underwater caves and ancient shipwrecks. Grouper and porcupine fish are frequently
spotted among the brightly-colored fan coral that inhabit the iridescent reefs. More illusive visitors like whale sharks,
mantas, and the cheerful dolphins may also be spotted. Other mammals like the Manatees and lovesick humpback whales can be
found in the season.
The dive spots of the Dominican Republic are a heaven for the experienced diver, and also a good place for the beginner.
The weather conditions, warm waters and good visibility are perfect for year-round underwater adventures. Don’t forget your camera!

Golfing Packages
Tour Description - Some of the most beautiful golf courses in the Caribbean are sprinkled around the Sun Village Resort & Spa.
Zip away for a scenic helicopter ride to one of the gorgeous 18-hole courses just minutes away.
These courses have more than just an oceanfront view. For a sample of what awaits you in the Dominican Republic, consider
Playa Grande, nestled high above the ocean. Robert Trent Jones’ design includes underground springs that supply abundant
fresh water, while fairways and hazards take guests through small bays and coral reefs. Play along 100-foot bluffs with more ocean
side holes than Pebble Beach!
It has the spectacular oceanfront setting, it has hills, and it has the widest possible choice of tees, ranging from over 7000
to 4488 yards. Most golfers, playing conservatively, will post a score below their average number at home. One of golf's
best-kept secrets!

Dune Buggy Tours
Tour Description - One of the most exhilarating ways to see the beautiful mountains and beaches of the Puerto Plata area is
on an ATV. Free transportation is available from Morales-Nuñez, a family owned company, from any resort in the area. Before your
sightseeing tour begins, you will receive a 30 minute training session on how to safely operate Dune Buggies and Four Wheelers.
Afterward, set out on your choice of tours and take in the sights from a different perspective.
