I've been involved in travel planning for over 12 years now and, for the last 10, I have been an employee-owner with CI Travel. Making travel arrangements is more than just a job for me, it’s something I truly love. Helping people live their dreams is such a great way to make a living! Over the years I’ve been to many places and seen some amazing sights, but one of my favorites has to be London. London is fashionable, multicultural and a major gateway to Europe. From Westminster Abbey to Big Ben, Buckingham Palace to the Houses of Parliament, England is where it all began. A visit to this city will take you back in time to the very roots of America.
I love to go places and meet new people any way I can, but I have to say that a cruise ship is my favorite way to do both. Cruising has also become very popular with groups. They’re a great place for extended families to stage a family reunion; corporations can combine seminars with the ultimate “casual day;” even churches have found cruise ships to be a great gathering place. I have arranged cruise getaways for many groups and consider group cruising to be a form of travel in which I excel.
When I head out on my own vacations I love to spend a couple of days onboard ship heading to either Grand Cayman or St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tranquil beaches, sparkling blue water and tropical breezes are just the thing I need to leave it all behind. I never fail to return home without bringing a bit of that uniquely Caribbean frame of mind with me.
My love of cruising has led to my being certified as a specialist with Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruise Lines; and Carnival Cruise Line, the world’s leading cruise line. I am also a Disney and Las Vegas specialist and will soon earn my certification with Cunard Cruise Line.
