I am a proud graduate of Commonwealth College with a bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism, as well as a graduate of The International Council of Travel Agents where I earned the title of Certified Travel Counselor. I love to travel and am always looking for new and interesting places to visit. Another love of mine is discovering interesting ways to get there! For me, the journey is as almost as important as the destination.
My love of travel has inspired my desire for knowledge. Through my studies I have been awarded the title of Bermuda Specialist, as issued by the Bermuda Department of Tourism, and Destination Weddings Specialist; and as a Dominican Republic Specialist, issued by the Minister of Tourism. My other certifications include; Cayman Island Specialist Year Three, issued by the Minister for Tourism; Celebrity Cruise Lines Specialist; Palace Resorts Specialist; and Ski Online Specialist.
I am an avid skier and I have hit the slopes all over the western United States, including Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada. Another of my favorite activities is visiting Bermuda, a tropical jewel just 200 miles off the coast of Virginia. I have been to this “local” paradise more than 10 times, both by sea and by air. Because of its beauty and proximity, it has become rather popular for destination weddings. I’ve had the honor of assisting quite a few clients with planning their wedding aboard a cruise enroute to the island as well as couples who have decided to have their wedding at the end of their cruise. Because of the large number of people who often accompany the wedding party, I have gained a great deal of experience with planning trips for group, often ones upwards of 60 people.
