Both of my parents were Naval Officers, as a result my family and I moved every two years. Our moves took us to many places including San Francisco, CA; Alexandria, VA; Pensacola, FL; Atlanta, GA and Newport News; Va even Rota, Spain.
My BA in Political Science from Christopher Newport University put me on a path with many career options, but I found that I had developed quite a need to "pick up and go." Working as a Travel Consultant affords me the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds; I can live in one place and still see all the others!
My curiosity made it easy to complete the studies required to receive my Destination Specialist certification from both Princess and Cunard Cruise Lines; designation as a "WOW" specialist by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and certificate of completion from the Disney College of Knowledge.
Traveling is second nature to me and I try to get away every 3 months or so. Over the years I have traveled to all 50 states and most U.S. territories as well as Canada, the Caribbean and most of Western Europe. The most exotic place I’ve had the opportunity to visit, so far, has been Morocco! One of the places I find myself drawn to over and over again is Mexico, in particular, Cancun & the Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan. Mexico is a great overall vacation that has so much to offer; everything from an enchanting culture to historical ruins, ecological parks and beautiful beaches on both coasts. And, and. To top it all off the people of Mexico are, by far, the friendliest people I’ve met and are a large part of what make the country such a great vacation spot.
